Introduction
At One Mow Co, we strive to provide reliable, high-quality lawn and landscape services for every property we maintain. The following Service Terms & Conditions are intended to clearly outline how our services operate so both our team and our clients have a shared understanding of expectations.
These Service Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by One Mow Co. By requesting, scheduling, or accepting services, the client agrees to the following terms.
Service Expectations
At One Mow Co, we are committed to providing reliable, professional lawn and landscape services to every property we maintain. To accomplish this, our services are performed through organized routes and established service schedules throughout the season.
Our team works to maintain each property to a high standard using proven maintenance practices, professional equipment, and careful attention to detail. Because every property has its own unique layout and landscape conditions, our crews adapt their approach as needed to deliver consistent results.
We take pride in operating an efficient and dependable service schedule. While we always strive to remain on our planned route schedule, occasional adjustments may occur due to weather conditions, seasonal growth, or operational needs.
Clients can help support consistent service by keeping lawn areas reasonably clear of obstacles, communicating any property access issues ahead of time, and maintaining conditions that allow routine maintenance to be performed safely and efficiently.
By maintaining clear expectations and working together with our clients, we are able to deliver the reliable service and professional results that One Mow Co is known for.
Scope of Services
One Mow Co provides lawn care and landscape maintenance services which may include, but are not limited to:
- Lawn mowing
- Field mowing
- Landscape maintenance
- Seasonal cleanups
- Mulching and bed maintenance
- Pruning and plant care
- Landscape services
- Other agreed-upon property maintenance services
Services will be performed according to the scope of work outlined in the client’s estimate, proposal, or service agreement. We understand that every property has its own unique landscape conditions and challenges, and our team works to adapt our services to meet the specific needs of each property and provide the desired outcome for the client.
Scheduling and Service Frequency
Routine services such as mowing are typically performed on a weekly schedule during the growing season, with biweekly service available in some cases when specifically discussed and agreed upon.
We strive to stay on a routine and planned schedule to provide reliability for our clients, however exact service days and times may occasionally vary based on:
- Weather conditions
- Seasonal growth rates
- Route efficiency
- Operational needs
One Mow Co reserves the right to adjust service schedules as necessary to maintain safe and efficient operations.
Weather Delays
Weather conditions may require services to be postponed or moved ahead of the scheduled service day. This includes rain, excessive moisture, lightning, extreme heat, or other unsafe working conditions.
When delays occur, service will be completed on the next available service day or moved ahead of the originally scheduled service day when conditions allow. We strive to remain on our planned schedule and take pride in being reliable, however occasional adjustments may be necessary when circumstances arise outside our control.
Skipped Service and Excessive Grass Height
Lawn mowing services are priced based on regular weekly service, or biweekly service when specifically agreed upon.
Clients may request to skip a scheduled service when appropriate, such as during periods of extremely dry conditions, excessive heat, or when lawn growth is minimal. During particularly hot or dry summer conditions, our team may also recommend skipping a mowing service if doing so is in the best interest of the health of the lawn.
However, when lawns are in their normal growing season, skipping services may result in excessive grass height or additional growth that requires additional time and equipment to properly maintain the property.
If grass height becomes excessive due to:
- Client-requested skipped services while lawns are actively growing
- Multiple skipped services in a row
- Delayed service caused by property access issues or construction activity
- Grass growth significantly beyond normal maintenance height
One Mow Co reserves the right to apply a reasonable additional service charge to account for the increased time, labor, and equipment required to restore the lawn to a maintainable condition.
In cases where grass height becomes excessive, the property may require:
- Multiple mowing passes
- Additional trimming
- Additional cleanup
These situations may be billed as an additional mowing charge or a reasonable one-time cleanup service.
Regular weekly service helps maintain the healthiest lawn conditions and ensures consistent service quality.
Property Access
Clients must ensure the property is accessible on scheduled service days.
- Gates must be unlocked or access codes must be provided in advance
- Pet waste should be cleaned from lawn areas prior to mowing services. Areas containing pet waste may be skipped for sanitation and safety reasons.
- Construction, painting, roofing, or other contractor work that may interfere with routine service should be communicated to us ahead of time so scheduling adjustments can be made if necessary.
If the property cannot be accessed, the service may be skipped or rescheduled.
Yard Preparation
Clients are responsible, within reason, for ensuring lawn and landscape areas are reasonably clear of obstacles prior to service.
This helps allow our crews to perform services efficiently and safely. Small items may be moved when practical; however, properties with excessive obstacles may result in areas being skipped. We always try, whenever reasonable, to ensure all areas of the lawn are serviced as expected. We simply ask that lawns remain reasonably clear to avoid excessive time spent moving large amounts of items prior to mowing.
Examples include but are not limited to:
- Toys (especially excessive toys or items spread across the lawn)
- Hoses
- Decorations
- Pet items such as dog toys or dog bones that may not be easily visible in the lawn
- Garden tools
- Electrical cords
- Other movable objects
Items left in service areas may be moved at the crew’s discretion or may result in skipped areas.
One Mow Co is not responsible for damage to items left in service areas.
Hidden Objects and Projectile Risk
We take every precaution possible when performing mowing services and operate equipment carefully to avoid striking objects in lawn areas.
However, hidden objects may still be present that cannot be seen prior to mowing, such as rocks, sticks, dog toys, bones, or other debris that may be concealed in the grass.
Commercial mowing equipment can propel objects at high speeds when struck.
One Mow Co is not responsible for damage caused by objects that were hidden, buried, otherwise not visible during service, or objects that may not have been present during previous service visits.
Clients are responsible for maintaining their property free of loose debris that could become a projectile hazard or notifying us ahead of time if concerns exist.
Irrigation Systems
Clients are responsible for ensuring irrigation heads, valves, and related components are properly installed. If preferred, irrigation systems can also be periodically inspected as a separate service to help ensure proper operation.
Irrigation heads can occasionally fail over time or may not fully retract back into the ground. While our crews do their best to notice these situations, they can sometimes be difficult to see, particularly in taller grass.
Irrigation heads that remain raised above ground level may still be struck during normal mowing operations.
One Mow Co is not responsible for damage to:
- Irrigation heads that do not retract properly
- Hidden irrigation components
- Improperly installed irrigation systems
Vehicles and Property in Service Areas
Vehicles should be kept clear of lawn and service areas on scheduled service days when reasonable. We understand that in some situations vehicles may need to be temporarily parked on lawn areas.
While our crews take precautions when operating equipment, One Mow Co is not responsible for damage to vehicles or personal property located within mowing or service areas.
Window and Property Damage
Our crews take every precaution possible when performing services and operate equipment carefully around buildings, vehicles, and other property.
However, the use of commercial landscape equipment carries inherent risks.
If our crew damages property during service and becomes aware of the damage, we will contact the property owner immediately. If the damage is determined to be caused by our operations, we will work to repair or replace the damaged item as quickly as reasonably possible.
We take situations like this very seriously and strive to resolve any legitimate issues promptly.
Damage believed to be related to our services should be reported as soon as it is noticed.
Lawn Health and Appearance
Lawn conditions may vary due to factors outside our control including:
- Weather conditions
- Soil conditions
- Irrigation practices
- Existing turf health
- Pest or disease issues
While we apply proven lawn care practices and professional maintenance standards, One Mow Co cannot guarantee specific lawn conditions or outcomes.
Payment Terms
Payment for services is handled electronically.
Most clients maintain a credit card on file for automatic payments related to routine services. Invoices are delivered electronically and include a secure payment link.
If a client prefers not to keep a payment method on file, payment may be made through the secure payment link provided with the invoice.
In situations where electronic payment is not possible, alternative arrangements must be discussed and approved in advance.
Accounts that become overdue may be subject to:
- Late fees
- Service interruption
- Removal from the service schedule
Automatic Payment Authorization
If the client enrolls in automatic payment or provides a payment method on file, the client authorizes One Mow Co to charge the provided payment method for completed services according to the agreed billing schedule.
Seasonal Services
Recurring services such as mowing are typically provided during the active growing season.
Service start and end dates may vary slightly each season depending on weather conditions and turf growth.
Service Modifications
Additional work requested outside the original scope of services may require updated pricing and scheduling adjustments.
Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service
One Mow Co reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services for reasons including but not limited to:
- Non-payment
- Unsafe property conditions
- Repeated access issues
- Harassment or unsafe behavior toward staff
Acceptance of Terms
By requesting services, scheduling services, submitting a request through our website, or allowing services to be performed on the property, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to these Service Terms & Conditions.
Thank you,
One Mow Co
